Travels | Sequoia National Forest
This post is my absolute favorite, for one reason, and one reason only. I came out to California to celebrate Sara's, my girlfriend of two years, birthday. She suggested for her birthday that we go out to her favorite place on earth, Sequoia National Forest. This forest, home of the giant Sequoia Redwood trees, was absolutely beautiful upon entering. We explored and explored for hours, until I found the right place to ask the love of my life to become my wife, which she happily said yes! Sequoia will now always hold a special place in our hearts, which we plan to visit again someday.
If you can make the journey out to Sequoia National Forest, I would highly, highly recommend visiting. You can truly feel the beauty of God's creation all around you, as you are surrounded by trees over one hundred feet high, and some hundreds of years old. The part that took my breath away, was the views of the mountains. You can see everything for miles in every direction, snow-capped mountains, huge rock walls, trees of various sizes and colors, roaring rivers, beautiful rock formations, and the list goes on. This was by far, one of my favorite places to visit on earth.
