Another school year has come and gone, and with it, the need for pictures for invitations, announcements and graduation ceremonies. I had a few different kinds of photo sessions under my belt, but I hadn't had an opportunity to do senior portraits yet.
During my brief time at UTA, I met Onikunle Oni, a graduating senior at the College of Architecture, and we had the same design studio. Near the end of the semester, he asked if I could take a few photos of him for his graduation party, and I happily agreed. We went out one Saturday afternoon, and we spent a few hours knocking out the shoot.

I'm fairly new to this whole photography business, so building the client base has been slow. Fortunately, I have a fantastic network at my church. Just a few weeks ago, I was approached by friends of mine, who their oldest son was about to graduate high school, and they had realized they that had not gotten his senior photos done. They asked me if I could do a small session with him in Downtown Dallas. He specifically mentioned that he wanted to get the Dallas skyline incorporated, because of his love of the city of Dallas.
